
The Indian government has issued a directive to prohibit 25 mobile applications and websites that were identified as featuring inappropriate content, as stated in a report.

New Delhi: Taking stringent actions against obscene content, the central government on Friday has banned several apps and websites, instructing Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to restrict their public access in India, Storyboard18. According to the report, the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting has detected 25 links with objectionable advertisements that includes pornographic content.
