The Conjuring: Last Rites, which hit the screens on September 5, is enjoying a strong run at the box office in India as well as worldwide. Although, the horror drama witnessed a dip in its third day collection, still managed to cross the impressive Rs 50 crore mark in India.

According to entertainment tracking portal Sacnilk.com, The Conjuring: Last Rites opened strongly, earning Rs 17.5 crore on both Friday and Sunday. However, Sunday figures witnessed a 40 per cent dip, putting earnings at Rs 15.5 crore. This pushed the film’s three-day collection to Rs 50.5 crore.
The English version contributed the most with an estimated Rs 27.55 crore, while the Hindi version earned around Rs 18.73 crore, followed by Tamil and Telugu versions together collected approximately Rs 3 crore.
With its impressive box office streak, The Conjuring: Last Rites has already become the third-highest Hollywood grosser in India, trailing The Conjuring 2 (Rs 61.80 crore) and Final Destination Bloodlines (Rs 61.2 crore). Well, this horror drama achieved the milestone in just its first weekend.
