This is the story of Nick Geoppo who claims to be a weight loss coach according to his Instagram bio. Nick’s story to glory began in 2019 when he would wake up everyday only to feel drained and miserable. “The pain of being fat became so unbearable that permanent change became my only option,” Geoppo wrote in a caption for his post sharing his story.

A Weight Loss Journey That Started Five Years Ago

It is the rawness and palpability of real life weight loss journeys that make it more relatable. For Nick, he understood that he was overeating and coping with food to avoid addressing the real issues in my life. “From 2013-2019 I gained and lost 50 pounds every year (that’s 6 times!) on every diet you’ve ever heard of – keto, low carb, fasting, if it fits your macros, counting every calorie in MyFitnessPal…I always gained the weight back because they weren’t sustainable for me.”

He decided to target developing a healthy mind, build healthy relationship with food myself and lose weight and actually keep it off.

Weight Loss Morning Routine

How you start your day is a crucial aspect for weight loss. When you wake up, what you do next helps determine the course of your body through the day. Geoppoo shared three simple morning rituals that he wish someone told him before.

According to Geoppo, what worked for him was following and believing in a dedicated routine that he would follow every morning. Waking up at a dedicated time everyday maintains a body clock and body rhythm. The first thing he did in the morning after waking up was drinking a glass of water. It helps to keep the body hydrated, make up for dehydration through the night and add the push to start your day.

This would be followed by a walk. It helps to kickstart your day on a high note. “I wish someone told that the best morning routine for weight loss is to wake up at the same time everyday. Drink a glass of water and go for a walk. Weight loss is about consistent habits over of time. You will prove to your self and start believing that you it in you to maintain habits over time. This belief is a requirement if you want to actually weight off,” Geoppo mentioned in his post.
