Rumours are rife in the town that Virender Sehwag and Aarti Ahlawat are heading for a divorce. According to several media reports, the couple has been living separately for the past few months.
The couple have also unfollowed each other on Instagram. Earlier, Sehwag often shared family pictures, photos of his wife on his social media account. However, netizens spotted the trend where the legendary cricketer shared Diwali photos and at several other occasions but his wife was not seen. However, no official statement or confirmation has been made from any side.
Virender and Aarti tied the knot in 2004. They are parents to two sons – Aryavir and Vedant.

Grey divorce is a term that describes a couple who is getting a divorce in their 50s or around similar time. It is also referred as ‘silver splitting’. Earlier in India, regardless of the marital issues, societal pressure kept a couple together, but today things have changed. Microsoft founder Bill Gates also ended the marriage of over 25 years with Melinda French.
