Protein is an important component that is required for muscle building, recovery and weight loss. An online fitness coach, Anusha Aggarwal, lost over 24 kgs in almost 100 days. For her 18.7K followers, she documents her journey and shares snippets about weight loss hacks that helped her journey to reduce fat.

Weight Loss Breakfast

Aggarwal, in one of her reels, shared about her “go-to breakfast” that furnished with the measures to reduce 24 kgs. Emphasising the importance of first meal of the day, she wrote, “Your breakfast should be high in proteins and fats as when you are empty stomach your insulin levels are down and then when you have carbs just in the first meal, the insulin level shoots up. It leads to constant spike and drop of insulin, which this causes uncontrollable cravings, you don’t feel full, fat storage, weight gain, irritation.”

In the video the fitness enthusiast is seen blending paneer (cottage cheese) with Greek yoghurt. She further topped it with blueberries and mixed seeds.

These ingredients are rich in protein content and good for weight loss diet.

  • Paneer: It is rich in protein, has essential nutrients like phosphorus, calcium that keep you satiated.
  • Greek Yoghurt: It is good source of protein, healthy carbs, that help boost metabolism and maintain weight.
  • Mixed seeds: Seeds mostly have healthy fats, protein, fibre, omega-3 fatty acids and are packed with nutrients.
  • Blueberries: High in antioxidants, it helps add a bit of flavor and fight oxidative stress.
