Congress MP and Leader of Opposition (LoP) in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on Sunday asserted that citizens that he will be their voice in the Parliament and the raise the issues faced by the people of India, which is his duty as the LoP.

In a video message shared on his Instagram page, Gandhi said the LoP is the strongest democratic tool for every Indian.

The Leader of Opposition is the strongest democratic tool for every Indian, Rahul Gandhi said on Sunday and asserted that he will raise the voice of the people of India in Parliament.

“LoP is the strongest democratic tool every Indian has. I assure you, I will raise your voice by raising your problems and issues with full force in the Parliament,” Gandhi said in the Instagram post.

In the viral video message, Rahul Gandhi is seen talking to youths who said reconducting the NEET examination is their demand. It then shows another clip of the Leader of Opposition raising the issue in the Lok Sabha on June 28.

The video also shows clips of the Congress leader’s meetings with the family of family of Agniveer Ajay Singh (23), who was killed in a landmine explosion in the Rajouri sector in Jammu and Kashmir in January, and the victims of violence in Manipur, among others.

Rahul Gandhi, who emerged as the unrivalled face of the Congress as well as the INDIA Bloc after leading an inspired Lok Sabha poll campaign against the ruling BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi which saw the BJP’s numbers dwindle to 240 seats, while the opposition grouping managed to secure 232 seats, ensuring a strong opposition in the 18th Lok Sabha.
