Celebrating the Centenary of Musical Maestro Nachiketa Ghosh “Mejaj tai to Ashol Raja” – A Musical Documentary Tribute

The Nachiketa Ghosh Memorial Foundation proudly presents an extraordinary evening commemorating the 100th birth anniversary of legendary music composer Nachiketa Ghosh. The centerpiece of this celebration will be the screening of “Mejaj tai to Ashol Raja,” a musical documentary directed by Hara Prosaad Mondal, the composer’s son-in-law. The documentary, crafted as a curated collage from an ambitious 22-episode docuseries scheduled for release this year, offers a captivating preview of the larger celebration to come.This intimate portrayal weaves together the maestro’s timeless compositions that have enriched Bengali cinema and music, alongside personal stories that shaped his remarkable journey.
