Dyson India announces the opening of its first Dyson Store in
Kolkata, West Bengal. This launch marks not only Dyson’s debut store in the city but also
the first store in the state of West Bengal and the entirety of East India. The new Kolkata
store is Dyson’s 25th store in India, reinforcing the company’s commitment to bringing
problem-solving technologies closer to consumers across the country while expanding its
retail footprint.
Located in South City Mall, one of Kolkata’s premier shopping destinations, the new store is
designed to provide an immersive and interactive experience that offers the ultimate “try

consumers to engage with the products in real-time, offering personalized demonstrations

The store features interactive zones designed to demonstrate the intelligence and
effectiveness of Dyson technologies in everyday scenarios. Customers can witness the
capabilities of Dyson vacuums on various floor types and debris—including cereal, confetti
and dust—replicating real-life cleaning conditions. Live demonstrations of Dyson air purifiers
provide real-time indoor air quality data and insights on pollution events, while styling
stations allow customers to experience the latest Dyson beauty technologies, such as the
Dyson Airstrait™, the Dyson Supersonic™ hair dryer and Dyson Airwrap™ multi-styler. For
audiophiles, the store also includes a dedicated audio zone where customers can
experience Dyson’s high-fidelity, audio-only headphones: the Dyson OnTrac™ headphones.
