The BCCI have taken the decision to give a cushion of couple of hours to extend the match so that at least 5 overs can be bowled by each side to constitute a match. MI will be the beneficiary if the game on Wednesday is washed out and they will just need to win their last game against Punjab Kings to book their Playoffs berth.
For MI team, the only change likely could be bringing back New Zealand all-rounder Mitchell Santner in place of South Africa’s Corbin Bosch. For Delhi, Afghanistan batter Sediqullah Atal had an extended net session on Tuesday and could replace out-of-form Faf du Plessis at the top of the order.
