Hardik Pandya-led side eye for revenge against MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings

Mumbai Indians are set to take on Chennai Super Kings at the Wankhede Stadium, aiming to climb the points table rapidly after gaining some rhythm in their recent home encounters.

Although Chennai Super Kings have maintained a strong head-to-head record against Mumbai Indians despite inconsistent performances over the past two IPL seasons, they now find themselves on the brink, one more loss could potentially knock them out of contention for a top-four playoff berth. The inclusion of Ayush Mhatre and Dewald Brevis has added depth to their batting lineup, which has yet to deliver consistently.
