Pakistan’s captain, Salman Ali Agha, expressed that the recent match was an improvement over their last performance. He noted, “Our batting was better, and the fielding was exceptional. Our bowling showed good moments, but we need to adapt to the different bounce. After the powerplay, our bowling was effective, particularly from Haris. However, we must enhance our performance during the powerplay, both as a batting and bowling unit,” Agha remarked after the game.

Captain Salman Ali Agha scored 46 runs as Pakistan posted a total of 135-9 in a match that was shortened to 15 overs per side due to a wet outfield. However, Tim Seifert scored 45 runs off 22 balls and Finn Allen contributed 38 runs from 16 balls, leading New Zealand to a comfortable five-wicket victory. Pakistan will play third match of the series against New Zealand on Friday at Eden Park, Auckland.
