New Dehi: MS Dhoni, the legendary wicketkeeper of Chennai Super Kings, once again showcased his exceptional prowess behind the stumps, reinforcing his reputation as one of the best wicketkeepers in cricket history.

In the match between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Noor Ahmad delivered a ball just wide on the off-side, and Dhoni once again displayed his incredible stumping ability, executing it with remarkable speed.

The replays revealed that Phil Salt was marginally out of his crease, providing Dhoni with the perfect opportunity to swiftly remove the bails.

In the 5th over, Noor Ahmad bowled a delivery that slipped past Phil Salt’s bat. Without hesitation, MS Dhoni sprang into action, collecting the ball in an instant and swiftly dislodging the bails. The decision went upstairs, and replays confirmed that Salt’s back leg was off the ground, leading to his dismissal.

Dhoni delivered a remarkable act of redemption during the match. With his signature quick reflexes, he gathered the ball and removed the bails in a flash.

While facing Ahmad, RCB opener Salt’s foot was again airborne, prompting the on-field umpires to consult the third umpire. After reviewing the footage, the third umpire confirmed that Salt’s foot was indeed off the ground when the stumps were broken.

Dhoni’s stunning stumping of Phil Salt was just one of many exceptional wicketkeeping moments from ‘Captain Cool’ this season. Earlier, in the previous match, he had executed a swift stumping to dismiss Suryakumar Yadav, Mumbai Indians’ captain, in the 11th over, delivering a massive blow to the opposition in their IPL opener.
