Inglis finished with an impressive 120* off 86 balls, including eight fours and six sixes, as Australia reached the target of 352 with 15 balls to spare.
Opener Matthew Short and Alex Carey contributed 63 and 69 runs respectively, while Marnus Labuschagne added 47, guiding Australia to 356/5 in 47.3 overs.
Earlier, England posted 351/8, thanks to a brilliant 165 from opener Ben Duckett. Duckett’s knock came off 143 balls and included 17 fours and three sixes, while Joe Root added 68 as England batted first.
For Australia, Ben Dwarshuis claimed three wickets for 66 runs, while Adam Zampa and Marnus Labuschagne each took two wickets.
