New Delhi: Rohit Sharma is known for keeping his emotions in check on the field, only displaying his feelings in extreme circumstances. However, during the IPL 2025 match between MI and Gujarat Titans, Rohit’s frustration was evident as Trent Boult struggled with his bowling.
Rohit Sharma gets frustrated:
Boult bowled the opening over of the innings, with Shubman Gill taking full advantage, hitting two boundaries to start things off aggressively. However, things took a turn for the worse for the MI pacer in his next over as Sai Sudharsan took charge, playing a beautiful straight drive, followed by a delicate push, adding two more boundaries to the score.

The fans were overjoyed as Trent Boult was being hit hard, and Rohit’s frustration was evident on his face. The MI bowler struggled to find his line and length, while the GT openers made easy work of him. The early pressure was lifted as the MI bowlers were taken for runs right from the start.
Hardik Pandya back on the team, no Will Jacks for Mumbai Indians:
Mumbai Indians’ captain, Hardik Pandya, missed the opening match against CSK due to a suspension for a slow over-rate violation from the previous season. Without Hardik, MI seemed out of sorts and suffered a loss in their first game.
However, Hardik returned for this match, and as a result, Robin Minz and Will Jacks were left out. The captain has yet to bowl as MI aims for their first win of the season.
