New Delhi: Fifty from Sai Sudharsan (63) and GT bowlers went hard in the game and they showed a stunning performance as Gujarat Titans (GT) beat Mumbai Indians (MI) by 36 runs in the ninth game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad here on Saturday.

Gujarat Titans (GT), batting first, posted 196/8, thanks to a strong 63 off 41 balls by opener B. Sai Sudharsan, alongside key contributions from captain Shubman Gill (38), Jos Buttler (39), and Sherfane Rutherford (18).

In response, Mumbai Indians (MI) managed only 160/6 in their 20 overs, with Suryakumar Yadav (48) and Tilak Varma (39) top-scoring.

For GT, Mohammed Siraj (2/34) and Prasidh Krishna (2/18) were the standout bowlers, while Kagiso Rabada (1/42) and R Sai Kishore (1/37) also picked up wickets.

On the MI side, captain Hardik Pandya (2/29) marked his return after missing the first match, taking two wickets, while Trent Boult (1/34), Mujeeb Ur Rahman (1/28 in 2 overs), Deepak Chahar (1/39), and Satyanarayana Raju (1/40) took one wicket each.
