New Delhi: Gujarat Titans opener Sai Sudharsan has created history in IPL. What no Indian batsman could do in this tournament till now, Sai Sudharsan has done that. Earlier, AB de Villiers had also done this feat while playing only for RCB. Now, Sai has become the second player.

Sudharsan handled the innings after Shubman Gill was dismissed:
Sai Sudharsan again played wonderful innings for his team on Wednesday. Gujarat Titans, who came to bat first after losing the toss, got the first blow soon when captain Shubman Gill got out cheaply and returned to the pavilion. Shubman Gill could score only two runs, at that time the team’s score was only 14 runs. After this, he along with Jos Buttler took his team out of trouble. He also completed his 200 runs in this year’s IPL. He has also become the first Indian batsman to score more than 200 runs in this year’s IPL.

Sudharsan has scored half-centuries in five consecutive matches in Ahmedabad:
Meanwhile, if we talk about the record, Sai Sudharsan has become the first Indian batsman to score more than 50 runs five times in a row on the same IPL ground. Sai Sudharsan played two back-to-back innings of more than 50 runs in the year 2024 at the same Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. After this, this year also he has played innings of more than 50 runs three times in a row on the same ground. No Indian has done this before. AB de Villiers also did the same feat while playing for RCB from 2018 to 2019. Now someone has equaled him.

Sai Sudharsan is batting brilliantly:
Sai Sudharsan played brilliant innings of 74 runs against Punjab Kings in Ahmedabad this year. After this, he also played brilliant innings of 63 runs against Mumbai Indians here. Although he was out on 49 runs against RCB, this match was played in Bengaluru. After this, he could score only 5 runs against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Hyderabad. But as soon as he returned to Ahmedabad again, runs started coming from his bat. This shows that Sai likes his home ground a lot. He is scoring a lot of runs here.
