Shoaib Akhtar expressed his frustration with Virender Sehwag’s comments in a social media video, stating that he is “fed up” with them.

New Delhi: A conflict on social media appears to have developed between two former cricket players from India and Pakistan. Shoaib Akhtar has posted videos on Instagram cautioning Virender Sehwag about his ongoing comments. Sehwag, recognized as the first Indian cricketer to achieve a triple century in Test matches, seems to have irritated Akhtar with his repeated references to this significant accomplishment in red-ball cricket. In one of his videos, Akhtar expressed his frustration and urged Sehwag to cease discussing the milestone, stating that he is “fed up” with the repetition.
The conflict began when Sehwag appeared in an advertisement with actress Mandira Bedi and Sahiba Bali. In his Instagram post, the former Indian opener wrote, “Ek triple centurion ke handle se @fwd ka ad post ho raha hai.”
Shoaib Akhtar expressed his dissatisfaction in a recent Instagram post, as the former Pakistani fast bowler shared his thoughts. “@fwd vaalo kisi stylish bande ko lena next ad mein (mere DM open hain). Hahaha.”
“I saw a video of Viru Paaji. Man, I’m fed up of hearing him talk. It’s the same tape playing for the last 20 years-‘300, 300, 300’. Come on, brother, I was there too when you scored that 300. You played really well, no doubt. But it’s the month of fasting, and one has to control their tongue-so please, stop now. If you want an entry in the Guinness World Records, I can get that done: ‘The person who says 300 the most in the world-Virender Sehwag!’,” Akhtar further said in the video.
“If you really want an entry, talk to me. Because I have a real record-you know which one, right?,” says Akhtar concluding the video.
Sehwag achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first Indian cricketer to score a triple hundred in Test matches, and this accomplishment occurred against Pakistan in Multan during India’s 2004 tour of the country.
Sehwag achieved the milestone by hitting a six against Pakistan spinner Saqlain Mushtaq, with Shoaib Akhtar also being part of the team.
