YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia is facing significant criticism for his contentious comments made during comedian Samay Raina’s well-known roast show, ‘India’s Got Latent’.
New Delh: YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia is facing significant backlash due to his provocative statements made during comedian Samay Raina’s popular roast show, ‘India’s Got Latent’. While on the show, Ranveer, who is also referred to as ‘BeerBiceps’, posed a controversial question to a contestant: “Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once and stop it forever?” In response to the widespread outrage regarding his remarks, former WWE wrestler Sanga, known as Saurav Gurjar, has issued a stern warning to Ranveer.
In a video shared on his X account, Gurjar issued a warning to Ranveer, stating that his security would be ineffective if they were to encounter each other. Gurjar emphasized that Ranveer should not be excused for his offensive comments and called on the authorities to impose severe consequences on him to establish a precedent.
“Whatever he did on the show, he cannot be forgiven for that. If we do not take action against him for his behavior, then more people like him will say similar things. People like him have crossed all the limit. We should take legal action against people like him who are spoiling our society and religion by saying such things, so that the next generation can be saved. The kind of things he has said, I demand the government to take strict action against him. I am very angry right now. I don’t want to use foul language. If I meet him anywhere, no one can save him from me for what he said on the show.,” Gurjar said.
Complaints have been filed with the police against Ranveer, Samay Raina, Apoorva Makhija, and others linked to the ‘India’s Got Latent’ episode. Law enforcement from both Mumbai and Guwahati attempted to locate him, but he was absent from his Mumbai home, which was found to be locked.
A police officer informed the news agency PTI that the Mumbai police have begun an investigation and visited the apartment in the Versova area of the city to interview him.
On Thursday, Allahbadia was instructed to go to the police station in Khar, Mumbai, to provide his statement. However, he subsequently asked if he could give his statement from his residence instead.
During the period from 2018 to 2024, Saurav Gurjar was employed as a professional wrestler with WWE, primarily featuring on their developmental program, WWE NXT.
He made his last WWE appearance in the previous year during the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, where he was taken out of the competition by the Creed Brothers.
In April 2024, he parted ways with the WWE.
