The Bihar prodigy, who became the youngest-ever cricketer to be bought at an IPL auction when the Rajasthan Royals bought him for Rs 1.1 crore at the IPL 2025 mega auction last month, went on to hammer his second successive fifty of the Asia Cup – off just 24 balls on Friday.
He was finally dismissed for 67 off just 36 balls with five huge sixes and six fours. But by that time India Under-19 team had already raced to 132 for 2 in just 13.4 over at a run-rate of nearly 10 runs an over.
