This preference has led them to spend considerable time in London since the arrival of their son, Akaay Kohli, in 2024. They are also parents to a daughter, Vamika, who was born in 2021.
The cricketer recently discussed his future plans following retirement. Kohli shared his insights at the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) Innovation Lab, in anticipation of the IPL (Indian Premier League) 2025. “I might not have another Australia tour in me, so I am at peace with whatever happened in the past,” he said.
“I actually don’t know what I will be doing post retirement, recently I asked a teammate the same question, and got the same reply. Yeah but may be a lot of travelling,” he added.
During the visit, Premanand Maharaj expressed to Virat that his achievements in cricket bring joy to the whole nation, which he considers his service. He also discussed ways to manage both success and failure.
Anushka had told him that time, “Mujhe sirf prem bhakti de dijiye aur kuch nahi (I just want to have love in my heard for the Lord.”
