New Delhi: The drama goes on with a new turn, as the match between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates has been pushed back by one hour.
What is happening in the Pakistan vs UAE match?
Earlier, reports said that Pakistan was planning to quit the tournament because of the handshake issue during their game against India. The situation got worse when Indian players didn’t shake hands with the Pakistani team after their match on September 14.
Following this, Pakistan complained to the International Cricket Council (ICC) and twice asked for match referee Andy Pycroft to be replaced. However, the ICC rejected both requests.
Where is the Pakistan Cricket Team?
According to a PTI report, the Pakistan cricket team is on its way to the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. We are still waiting for official word about the match. Since the team, led by Salman Agha, is said to be arriving at the venue, the game could still take place.
